Lock Hearts of Felix

I know it’s been a while since I actually posted anything; however, I can explain. For the past month from Aug. 1 - Aug. 29 I was participate in the Islamic tradition, Ramadan where you fast from dawn to sundown (approximately 15 hours) every day. I promised my roommate and good friend, Reda, last year that I would do it with him. I was really stupid to do it since I know I don’t eat till night sometimes but there’s a huge difference from doing it because you have no choice and just not eating till then. It was nice and easy to go through after a while but the worse thing about it was that I wasn’t allowed to drink alcohol at all in the month. That truly killed me since I am partially a lush.

Also I’ve been very busy with school. Lots of work came up and I had to spend a shit load of my time trying to learn Linux, which was horrible. Even after all that, I still managed to make a couple new songs, make some film ideas, write a poem, and start a novel. All of my new stuff will be posted soon within the week. I just got done moving into my new place, so I couldn’t do much online with much creativity. However, I decided to make a montage video of almost everything I caught I camera this year so far. I’m also going this weekend to work at PariahCon in Lakeland. I’m really excited for it and hope it’ll be awesome.

Today was definitely better than yesterday. Had a lot of fun at Islands of Adventure. We got on a good bit of rides and saw some pretty cool stuff. Soon a video along with a vid of our beach trips will be there at some point. (haha) I do have to say it was great to have Addy as a date there. Certainly a trooper with even stuff that terrifies her. Her face and voice pitch when we got on the Tower of Doom was priceless. Hogwarts was pretty cool for going into it the first time. We got on the Flight of the Hipogryph and The Dragon Challenge. Both pretty awesome. Unfortunately we couldn’t get shot glasses but hopefully tonight we’ll make up for it, along with the shitty service of public transportation, with some drinking and other things that involve alcohol with our only in-town friend, Dani.
